Simple Recipes
Air Freshener Spray - You will need a spray bottle then mix white distilled vinegar and an essential oil of your choice, once you are happy with the smell spray away!
Gel Fragrance in a Jar
- 1 cup of water (halved)
- 1 packet gelatin
- 1/4 teaspoon vodka
- 8-10 drops of essential oils
Boil 1/2 cup of water and dissolve gelatin, add other 1/2 cup of cold water and stir. Add vodka and essential oil stirring until blended. When you are ready pour into jars. Store in a cool place.
General Kitchen Cleaner
- 1 tablespoon borax
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 4 cups hot water
- Dash of liquid soap
Give them all a mix and you are ready to go. quick easy and simple. Store in bottle.
General Bathroom Cleaner
- 1 1/2 cups baking soda
- 1/2 cup liquid soap
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1/2 cup of water
- 4-5 drops tea tree essential oils
Mix soda and soap, add water then vinegar and oil. Can be stored in the bottle. shake before use.
Disinfectant spray
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon tea tree oil
- 1/4 teaspoon lavender oil
Shake them all together and its ready to use. Store in bottle. shake before use.
General Floor Cleaner
Get a bucket and mix 1/2 cup white vinegar to 1/2 bucket of hot water. This can be used on any floor.
Wooden Furniture Polish
- 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon water
Squeeze the juice from the lemon add water and oil mix together. Apply to wood surface leave for 5-10 mins and buff for a high shine.
Mirror Cleaner
- 1 1/2 cups vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 8-10 drops citrus essential oil.
Mix together, spray onto mirror and wipe clean with a dry cloth.
